Other definitions published here comes from the other author or a book where it pickup and defines it through its word or acronym.  

And because the computer is the highest device electronics, the electronic acronym will include also here.

  1. Computer: Any machine that works with hardware and software, through signal processing within its system. Embedded with a program processing to control and manipulate by its central processing.
  2. Central Processing Unit: A device or the computer that has a primary function to control all functions of computers, such as a keyboard, mouse, all the input/output systems of computers.
  3. Input Device: this device of the computer has an ability to feeds data of computers or can be processed first the data by computer system before it will become visible to the human user.such as; keyboard, mouse, scanner, etc.
  4. Internet: The term internet is derived from the word "International network", is a part of the classification of the network as a bigger part of all classification as a wide area network or WAN. Its major function of the application is the internet as world wide web or (WWW) through it different URL.
  5. Motherboard(MOBO): a central subassembly or the core main hardware of computer assemble internally in Central Processing Unit(CPU) mounted a variety of chips: such as Video Graphic Adapter(VGA), Audio, and chipset controllers that enable the computer processors to fetch, decode, and execute instructions through and end to the other resources of the computer.
  6. Hard Disk Drive(HDD): is the highest storage device of a computer, use to store the Operating Systems of the computer through its partition drive called c: Or a stationary drive of Operating System(OS)
  7. LCD Monitor: derived from the word; Liquid Crystal Display.Its discovered by a botanist engineer; he discovered that molecules can be used as a monitor of computers; laptop, PC, etc. using the main power board and converter board that enables the florescent to produce light within its panel to form an image or data of the computer via display generator.
  8. CD ROM is a device of the computer used to drive or read the compact disk(CD) through reading ONLY of the computer processor.
  9. I/O ports: is a part of the computer motherboard(MOBO) that has found in the rear or back of the computer system unit(CPU)that controls the input/output peripherals of the computer: such as, keyboard, mouse, etc.
  10. Southbridge(ICH): called an Input/output controller hub by Intel company.Is an IC that has a primary function to control the input/output system or peripherals devices of a computer, such as a keyboard, mouse, scanner, printer, etc.This part of the motherboard(MOBO)called by the other company as Southbridge as a fashion name as being south of the PCI bus.
  11. Northbridge(MCH): called Memory Controller Hub by Intel company. Is an IC found near the processor chip or processor socket that has a primary function to control the work of the memory or RAM(Random Access Memory)before the processor signal or IRQ(Interrupt Request)? And access the function of the storage devices and display signal(VGA). This part of the motherboard(MOBO)called by the other company as Northbridge as a fashion name as being north of the PCI bus.

PCI Slot(Peripheral Components Interconnect): Is a port or slot of the motherboard.Before the old motherboard has a slot called ISA or EISA slot(Industry Standard Architecture or Extended Industry Standard Architecture).This part of the motherboard has a primary function to carry or hold the PCI card for the additional or external devices of the computer.Both I/O devices of a computer, such as LAN Card, Modem, Wireless LAN card, expansion card, USB expansion card, etc.Commonly, this could be found as a white color slot in Motherboard.
  13. AGP Slot(Accelerated Graphic Ports): A part of the Motherboard that has a primary function to hold or carry the AGP card of the computer.This card has a function to generate point to point signal of the computer or processing the 3d graphics display, such as the new games of today generation.Commonly has a clock rate speed of 8x strobing power(8x times the system clock) and 256 MB/s in maximum capacity through its built-in GPU(Graphic Processor Unit).
  14. PCI e Slot(Peripheral Components Interconnect Express): This slot of the motherboard that found commonly near the processor socket.Has a primary function to hold or control the PCI e-card of the computer.This card has a primary function to generate the 3d and 4g display signal of the computer, such as the new games of today, such as the "call of duty" games and high capacity programmed such as Corel draw and adobe photoshop. This slot and its card is the standard of the AGP(Accelerated Graphic Ports) that have a maximum capacity and speed of 16x strobing power and 1gb MB/s through its built-in GPU(Graphic Processor Unit).
  15. Processor Socket: This part of the motherboard(MOBO)has a primary function to hold and control the computer processor. There are different processor sockets, such as socket 7, 8, 370, 478, 775,etc.differ on its form factor of the manufacturer. Such as AT, ATX, BTX(Advance Technology, Advance Technology Extension, and Balance Technology Extension).And through or differ of its processor compatible, the Intel and AMD.
  16. Power Connector: A part of the motherboard that has a function to control and hold the Power Supply Unit(PSU)of the computer.This power supply has a function to convert the AC to DC standard wall outlet electricity(220-240 Volts in the Philippines)to a low level of voltages, such as +5 volts, +12volts, 3.3volts standard needs of the computer system. And differ through its form factor AT, ATX, and BTX.
  17. Memory Slot(DIMM or SIMM): This slot of the motherboard near or beside the processor has a function through its holder the DIMM(Dual Inline Memory Module and Single Inline Memory Module).This slot of the motherboard has a different type through its Memory card(RAM)random access memory.
  18. RAM(Random Access Memory): This memory card of the computer that has a function to control and address the data temporarily before the processor signal. It has a different type, such as EDO RAM(Enhance Data Output), SDRAM(Synchronous Dynamic Random Access Memory), and SDRAM- DDR(Double Data Rate or Dual Data Rate). Its function or signal will be synchronized to the speed of the processor, such as PC 400 will synchronized through its front side bus of the motherboard.
  19. IDE connector(Intelligent Device Electronics): This connector of the motherboard has a function to connect the storage device of the computer, such as HDD, CD/DVD ROM. Through its pin arrays of 40 and using the carbon ribbon, the IDE Cable. Through its two types, the 40 and 80 pin conductor cable.
  20. SATA connector(Serial Advanced Technology Attachment): Its a standard of IDE connector.Same as the IDE to connect the storage device of the computer.Both the hard disk drive and CD/DVD ROM using its pin array. The advantage is the highest capacity and speed or decoding scheme in terms of processing and storage of both new storage.
  21. Front Panel connector(F- Panel): this connector of the motherboard, commonly found at the front of the motherboard.Is a connector of the front panel of the system case, such as the power button, reset, system speaker, and the HDD and Power LED or the light indicator.
  22. SPAM: Is no accurate meaning derive on it. But commonly SPAM word comes from our email messages.It is a bulk of messages that came from the advertisers. And it will send to the email list or an email group of internet users. Sometimes it is an unknown sender of a message and or unsolicited email messages. Other called this as Electronic Junk Email.
  23. ISP:(Internet Service Provider)this a group of companies or a company that provided services to the subscribers for internet connections using a telephone line. Popularly called DSL(Digital Subscriber Line) one of the popular companies in the PLDT and Bayantel in the Philippines.
  24. Blog: Is also a web page of the internet.Is an auto content Management that enable the blog builder to build a site even he/she is not a website programmer. A blog page commonly refers to the author of the blog site and it is open to the public or very accessible to the public Network. It is updated mostly daily and frequently every week. One of the giant website offer this internet product is Google.With the link or Internet address of blogspot.com

Http:(Hypertext Transfer Protocol)is one of the components of the web address of the internet using the browsers in the World Wide Web. Is a sequence of text that enable web site servers to act and respond to the different commands of the internet. Url:(Uniform Resource Locator)is a complete sequence of the text that being executed inside the address bar of internet browsers or other operating system's programs.Or a complete form of address that a site could completely open once the internet users type it in the browser address bar.In any form of internet data, such as documents and other resources of the World Wide Web.
  27. Email:(Electronic Mail)is a form of delivering instant messages using internet connections and webpage. It needs a complete information profile of the sender and receiver called an email address. So that a website email hosting service will deliver it formally to the destination.Example:gmail.com,yahoomail.comhotmail.com
  28. Search Engine Bar: This is a bar commonly found on the center of the home page of the web site, like google.com and yahoo.com.This is used to fetch multiple indexes of the documents via different sites using its different keywords.Example: you need images of computer, all you have to do is to type this in the search engine bar, and click the search button beside it.And a list of documents indexes by the spider will display on your page. 
  29. JPEG:(Junior Photographer Expert Group)one of the computer's file format extension files for new image/picture of the computer data program of Operating System.It comes from the file format.Jpg or what we called junior photographer group.
  30. MPEG:(Motion Picture Expert Group)one of the movie file formats of computer program extension files. It is the movie file format of windows media player, the .mpeg extension file.
  31. BCC:(Blind Carbon Copy)this is one of the bars of email situated at the top of our compose email. Once you enter an email account address in this bar, it will unable to identify anonymously by the receiver who sends the message.
  32. CC:(Carbon Copy)this is one of the bars of email situated at the top of our compose email.Once you enter an email account address in this bar, it will able the user to send the message to one or more receivers with the same message.

  38. LAN: Local Area Network- is one of the 3 categories of the Networks of the computer that set to connect over the world wide web or (www) or the purpose of sharing resources of the computer such as files, DVDs ROM, printer &, etc.
  39. CMOS/BIOS(Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor/Basic Input/Output System)- It is one of the varieties of chips and works as one of the important IC or Microchip found of the Motherboard or MOBO of the computer. The FIRMWARE called BIOS is stored in CMOS IC to preserve the default settings or elements of the hardware like the time modules.
  40. SSD or Solid State Drive- It is a new version of Hard Disk Drive or HDD, it uses non- volatile flash memory instead of a magnetic disk like the old version of HDD. That commonly called also a platter. There are types of SSD drives, they are NVME, SATA SSD, and Micro SSD.
  41. BSOD or Blue Screen Of Death- It's a near-death experience of a computer because of a known and unexpected failure of one of the main hardware of the computer. Or even a damaged or corrupted files of the operating system, even the overheating is one of the causes.
  42. WIFI (Wireless Fidelity)- It's a common term or acronym of a hotspot area. That all gadgets both smart mobile phones and notebook or laptop computers can connect to the internet without using a wire or called wireless communication.
  43. SSID (Service Set Identifier)- It's a sequence of text or numbers set or written by a user, serves as the name of a network through a wireless hotspot area. Using the Internet Service Provider or ISP.
  44. Wireless AP Mode- It's a common term use of the wireless network of devices that directly connect to a host device directly connected to a wireless device. Such as using a wireless card in a PC. It means also using a router device acts as a central connection point of a network of wireless devices.
  45. Wireless Client Mode- It's a group of wireless devices using a one or two routers that connect to the wireless accent point. And shares it's an internet connection to a LAN port of PC or in a portable computer, like a notebook or laptop.
  46. MAC Address (Media Access Control) - Instead of using TCP/IP, other networks use a MAC address as a unique identifier assigned to a network interface controller for communications. It's a unique identifier written in the data link layer of a network segment. Smart mobile phones commonly use MAC addresses to connect into the wireless networks.        
  47. HDD- Hard Disk Drive is the primary storage of a computer or PC and Laptop. It's the stationary drive of the operating system where the Windows or MAC OS is installed.  
  48. DATA RECOVERY- Is the digging or thorough retrieval of data and files on the damaged drive of the computer or any devices that use storage where the data and files are being installed. This task is performed by the expert or professional Data Engineer or Technician to retrieve lost files or data. The damage is both the internal part of HDD like the common damage to the head/write actuator and the platter. This task is very expensive on the part of the owner of Hard Drive.
  49. NVME- Is a type of storage interface found of any high-end mother of the computer that use to interface a new storage type called NVME SSD. Its stands of Non- Volatile Memory Express Solid State Drive- is a host controller and storage interface protocol that design to accelerate data using the high-speed Peripheral Components Interconnect Express (PCIe) bus.
  50. WHAT IS RANSOMWARE- A RANSOMWARE is a type of malware virus that your data will be encrypted and prevent you to publish or access your data or block you to publish unless you paid some money to fix it or return your data.
