How To Transfer Contacts of Your Android Mobile Phone

Your mobile phone is got too old and it always says or produces errors on your mobile apps once you open due to low memory. This is the major factor why people change to new mobile phones. And purchase with the latest one that has a high capacity internal memory. Like the Samsung A12 model that has 128 GB and Samsung Galaxy A72 memory capacity.

In this case, one of the important you need to perform is to transfer your mobile phone contacts into your new mobile phone. These contacts are the list of your friend's mobile numbers, families, or business contacts.

HOW TO TRANSFER YOUR MOBILE PHONE CONTACTS TO YOUR NEW MOBILE PHONE

1. On your Samsung mobile phone click the contact button.

2. Click the 3 dots right side top of your mobile screen to list the menu.

3. Under the list down menu, click the command called Manage Contacts.

4. There are two ways to transfer the contacts, you can use the Import/Export contacts. Then move contacts from your phone to your Google account or Samsung account.

5. On the next screen click the button called Export.

6. Click the Internal storage, then click the Export button to start saving your contact mobile file to your mobile phone internal storage.

THINGS YOU NEED TO DO AFTER THE SAVING OF MOBILE PHONE CONTACTS INTO THE INTERNAL STORAGE OF YOUR PHONE.

Using your Email Account:

  1. You need to connect your old and new mobile phone using the WIFI.
  2. You need to open your email.
  3. Attach your contact mobile file, it has a .vcf extension in the internal storage of your phone to your email using your mobile phone email.
  4. When finish attaching sent it to another email, like the email of your friends, then tell him to resent it back to you.
  5. Open your new mobile phone, open the Gmail apps then download the contacts.vcf file. Then your new mobile phone will automatically update the file you downloaded.

Using microSD memory of your mobile phone:

  1. Connect your mobile phone to a desktop PC.
  2. Allow your mobile to access the PC, then open the internal storage.
  3. Copy the contact.vcf file to the MicroSD memory.
  4. Then remove safely your phone from your computer.
  5. Turn off your mobile phone then remove the microSD memory.
  6. Then insert it into your new mobile phone.
  7. Then import the contact.vcf file into the contact menu of your new mobile phone. Use steps 2 to 4 then select the import command.
  8. Follow the screen until your contacts are fully updated.
  9.  Check after the importation.
Using Google Contact Apps:

  1. Open Google play apps.
  2. Then search Google Contact.
  3. Then download and install these apps on your mobile phone.
  4. After the installation top, the app icon then follows the onscreen instruction to transfer your contacts.
