HOW TO UPDATE WINDOWS DEFENDER USING YOUR WINDOWS 10 COMPUTER
1. In your Windows 10 Desktop, click the windows button, or click the search bar then type Windows update.
2. In Settings Window, click the Update & Security.
3. In the Windows Update window, click the button called Check for Updates.
4. Wait until the updates will finish.
NOTE: No need to install other anti-virus protection or any ransomware scanner. Windows Defender is capable to protect you from this threat.
