Files in the USB flash drive is commonly, damage and can't be open when you open this drive to your computer. This is because your files inside the drive is penetrated with malware, virus and your computer also became infected if your computer have no virus scanner installed. 

To get rid of this computer virus problem is to run virus scanning in all your drives. And if your important files in USB flash drive have viruses you need to run virus scanning thoroughly. After running and remove the virus in USB files. You will encounter another problem which is your files became hidden. You need to follow the procedure below to rid of this problem. 

HOW TO UNHIDE USB FILES USING WINDOWS COMMAND MODE 

  1. Open your virus scanner on your computer desktop.
  2. Insert your USB flash drive.
  3. Run your virus scanning through the USB drive.
  4. After several minutes the virus scanning is finished. Now check whether your files are there and can be open normally.

IF NOT AND CANNOT OPEN NORMALLY FOLLOW THE PROCEDURE BELOW

  1. Click start button at the lower portion of your desktop screen.
  2. Click on the search button.
  3. Type CMD.
  4. Right click on the CMD or command prompt.
  5. Then click administrator.
  6. Now in the black window screen or MS-DOS screen, type in the command line this MS-DOS command: attrib -h -r -s /s /d g:\*.*   
  7. Then press enter key.
If after executing this command and still you can't open the unhide files, it is understood that your USB files still there are virus inside. You need to run again the virus scanning using the most updated one. And repeat the procedure above here.
