How to maintain printer using windows
Common problems with the printer during printing of documents, its because of lack of maintenance. Maintaining printer is not all about replacing parts, refilling ink, and or bring it to the printer shop. But also as your use of your computer, you can also perform the maintenance by using the windows on your computer through the icons installed during the installation of the printer driver.

So here in this post I will let you know how to do this task and what are those menus you need to know to perform this maintenance of your computer printer. But remember not all printer brands have the same menus, but it has the same function and same how to open it in your windows operating system.

HOW TO OPEN PRINTER PROPERTIES USING YOUR COMPUTER DESKTOP

List Of Menus You need to use to maintain your printer

  1. Before you go on, power your computer and your printer. Be sure that the 4 color ink container (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black) have ink installed.
  2. In the desktop of your computer, click start button and click Devices And Printers at the right of customize menu. (See the image above)
  3. Another window will display, find the icon of your printer, example: Canon Ip2700 series, then right click on that icon. (See the 2nd image above here)
  4. Then in the list of menus you will see, click the Printer Properties. (See the 2nd image above here)
  5. Then in the pop-up window displayed on your screen, click the menu called Maintenance.
  6. Now you can select below either cleaning, deep cleaning, printer head alignment, nozzle check, ink cartridge setting, bottom plate cleaning, and roller cleaning
  7. After you finish the maintenance, you can now perform print test page. 
Remember, if there are trouble arises, like dis-align text or text and borders is not aligned, you can contact us here. Do not use any of the menus again, unlike, you know how to fix it. Converted printer or CISS (Continuous Ink Supply System) has the same procedure, how to perform the maintenance using the windows.

Remember the word processing of the Microsoft is composed of different versions like the early versions of 2007, 2010, 2013, and 2016. HOW TO PRINT DOCUMENT WITH IMAGES AND BACKGROUND

1. Using Word 2007
  1. Open your Microsoft Office Word 2007 in your computer, click the icon in your desktop or click start button/all programs/ Microsoft Office/Click the Microsoft Office Word 2007.
  2. After you create your document completely, or open your save document you want to print, hold control and press p in your keyboard(CTRL + P).
  3. An active window or pop-up window for printing will display in your screen, locate the option button just below left and click on it.
  4. Another window will display in your screen, locate the printing options and tick or checkbox both called “print drawings created in word” and “print background colors and images”.
  5. Click ok and your done.
2. Using Word 2010
  1. Open your Microsoft Office Word 2010 in your computer, click the icon in your desktop or click start button/all programs/ Microsoft Office/Click the Microsoft Office Word 2010.
  2. After you create your document completely, or open your save document you want to print, hold control and press p in your keyboard(CTRL + P). 
  3. Click option located below of the drop down menu list.
  4. Another window will display called "word options".
  5. Click display in left panel.
  6. Then locate the Printing Options just below of that window and tick or checkbox both called “print drawings created in word” and “print background colors and images”.
  7. Then click ok and your done.
